What's New for the 2020 Buick Encore?

In 2020, the Buick Encore gets some minor updates and amendments. This year, the Encore gets more standard safety technology in all four trim levels. The Encore mechanics remain largely the same. Sleek lines and an overall beautiful profile are still strong points of the Encore, which is offered in eight distinct trim colors. Several different wheel sizes give you the flexibility and freedom to customize your Buick. Along with the generous list of standard amenities, you will find many available options for the SUV as well such as leather seats, noise-dampening technology, and a versatile interior that can be customized to all your needs. The Encore seats five.

What are the Available Trims and Features for 2020?

The 2020 Buick Encore is available in four trims. They are the Encore, Preferred, Sport Touring, and Essence. Bluetooth and a six-way adjustable driver's seat are standard in the base trim. You'll also get a passenger's seat that conveniently folds flat. A 4G WiFi connection is standard, and the rear seats have a split-folding design. A backup camera is standard on the base trim, and the Encore comes with a trial for satellite radio. A leather-wrapped steering wheel is another welcome amenity. The Preferred upgrades to standard color-keyed floor mats and many more available features. Next, Sport Touring is offered with a Bose sound system and auto-dimming rearview mirror. Remote start is standard on this trim level as well.

The Essence, which is the top trim level, also adds a 120V power outlet, which is otherwise available on the lower trim levels. Heated seats and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are standard on this trim level, too. A driver's memory seat is standard as well. Remote start and a backup camera are standard conveniences, while a split-folding rear seat provides plenty of space for passengers and cargo. More safety features, including rear cross-traffic alert, are standard on this trim, too. Completing the Essence's list of features is a 4.2-inch driver's information display, a six-speaker sound system, and a six-way adjustable driver's seat. An eight-inch infotainment screen comes standard, and you can choose a system with navigation if you like. Dual-zone climate control is standard across all four trim levels.
