Specs at a Glance
The 2021 GMC Acadia is a versatile midsize SUV with three rows of seats. The Acadia stands out for its versatility, including your choice of seating options for many trim levels. There are also multiple engine and performance options, including a separate engine exclusively for the Denali trim level, which is the highest trim in the Acadia family. There are several minor changes for the Acadia this year, including wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as now-standard amenities. In addition to the updates, the Acadia returns with a range of standard features and options for the 2021 model year.
Performance
The SLE and SLT are both equipped with the same base engine, a four-cylinder that delivers a maximum of 193 HP. The two trims also have a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SLT is also eligible for an upgraded engine, a turbo with a power capacity of 230 HP. This engine has four cylinders as well. The Denali trim has its engine, which is a V6 that can crank out more power. The 2021 Acadia has a tow rating of 4,000 pounds, and you can get a tow package for the Denali.
Appearance
A sculpted and defined appearance is a highlight for the GMC Yukon Acadia. The SLE and SLT have distinguished exteriors with standard 18-inch wheels. You can also elect to get larger 20-inch wheels, which are standard on the Denali. The Denali also has a custom finish for its wheels. All trim levels have LED headlights. There are multiple color options for all trims, but the Denali also has its exclusive front grille, more chrome accents, and unique color schemes.
Features
An extended features list comes with the SLE, SLT, and Denali trim levels. A nine-inch touchscreen interface comes with the SLE and SLT. They also have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto this year. Three-zone climate control is included for all trims. The SLE has a seating capacity for six to seven people with captain's chairs, which is also offered with the SLT. The SLT has leather seats as well. The Denali gets a head-up display, a driver's seat with memory, and a wireless charging pad. A digital instrument panel completes its list of standard features, while more are available through packages. OnStar, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring are standard safety aids for all three trim levels. The Denali also has a lane-keep assist and forward collision mitigation.
