What's New for the 2025 GMC Yukon XL?

The 2025 GMC Yukon XL has a restyled front fascia with updated grille and headlight designs. For the first time, the Denali Ultimate comes standard with 24-inch wheels, and new trim options are available. The Elevation model has replaced the SLE and SLT trims, and the AT4 Ultimate is new for 2025. A more powerful Duramax diesel 3.0-liter inline-six version is the only major powertrain update.

What Are the 2025 GMC Yukon XL Trims and Features?

The trim options are the Elevation, the AT4, the AT4 Ultimate, the Denali, and the Denali Ultimate. The Elevation comes with a 5.3L V8 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission, a 16.8" diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment system, heated driver and front passenger seats, a 10-speaker Bose Surround audio system, and 20" machined and painted satin graphite wheels. The AT4 includes all the standard features with the Elevation but has machined aluminum wheels, all-terrain tires, a front skid plate with red recovery hooks, and an 11" diagonal driver information center.

The brand-new AT4 Ultimate comes with all of the AT4's standard features and includes a 6.2L V8 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission, four-corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology, 16-way power heated front seats with a massage feature, and an 8" rear climate control touchscreen. The Denali is similar to the AT4 Ultimate but includes a power-sliding center console and a multicolor 16" heads-up display. Finally, the Denali Ultimate features the aforementioned 24-inch aluminum wheels.
