Super Cruise is a new driver-assistance technology now available on many new GMC vehicles. It enables hands-free driving on compatible roads and handles steering, acceleration, and braking so you can enjoy a stress-free drive.
The Super Cruise system utilizes LiDAR map data, real-time cameras, sensors, and GPS to help the vehicle maintain its lane position while adjusting its speed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of it. The Super Cruise system is only available on compatible roads and under the proper conditions while the driver remains alert. The integrated Driver Attention System monitors the driver's head and eye position to ensure that they remain attentive and ready to take control of the wheel when necessary.
Super Cruise is currently available with the following 2026 GMC vehicles:
- 2026 GMC Sierra 1500
- 2026 GMC Acadia
- 2026 GMC Yukon & Yukon XL
- 2026 GMC Sierra EV
- 2026 GMC HUMMER EV Pickup
- 2026 GMC HUMMER EV SUV

Next, plan a route that includes Super Cruise-compatible roads. Check that your vehicle's cameras and sensors are clean and free of debris, and update your maps and software if prompted.
