GMC offers the new Yukon XL in five main trim levels: Elevation, AT4, Denali, AT4 Ultimate, Denali Ultimate.

The entry-level Elevation trim is a great choice for families who need extended cargo and passenger space. It comes loaded with an impressive list of standard equipment. Highlights include a 16.8-inch diagonal touchscreen with Google built-in, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, heated front seats, and wireless smartphone charging.

If you need a more capable adventure machine, consider the trail-ready AT4 trim. Rugged hardware, such as a front skid plate and all-terrain tires, enables you to confidently explore the rough backcountry. Ventilated front seats and an HD Surround Vision camera also come standard.

The upscale Denali trim offers premium comfort. Luxury materials, such as perforated leather upholstery, give the cabin a high-end feel. It also receives upgraded features like a 15.0-inch head-up display and a power-sliding center console.

While the AT4 Ultimate trim offers the same impressive off-road capability as the AT4 trim, it adds premium luxury features. Highlights include an exclusive Obsidian Rush full-grain leather interior with red accents, a 15.0-inch head-up display, 16-way power front seats with a massage feature, and an Air Ride Adaptive Suspension.

At the top of the lineup sits the flagship Yukon XL Denali Ultimate. Exclusive exterior styling, including 24-inch selective machined wheels and Vader Chrome accents, gives it an especially striking appearance. Premium full-grain leather upholstery, executive second-row seating, and wood accents further distinguish the Denali Ultimate trim.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2027 Yukon XL Have?

There are three available powertrains. A 5.3-liter V8 engine with 355 horsepower comes standard. You can opt for an even more muscular 6.2-liter V8 engine rated at 420 horsepower. A capable Duramax turbo-diesel engine is also available. Every engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. When properly equipped, the Yukon XL can tow up to 8,400 pounds.
