2022 Sierra Heavy Duty Trims & Features

The Sierra Heavy Duty is available in two different body styles, including a two-door cab and a four-door cab. The lineup for the 2500 and 3500 is the same, with some variations in amenities from one model to the next. The base model on both trucks is the Sierra. The Sierra features standard 17-inch steel wheels. It also has manual trailering mirrors, stepping points with the cargo bed, and tailgate locks for safety and convenience. Inside, the base trim has a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth pairing for up to two phones. A trailering hitch comes with the 3500 model. The SLE has cruise control, power trailer mirrors, power doors and windows, and a six-way MultiPro tailgate. It also has cloth upholstery and cloth floors. The 3500 version of the SLE also has additional storage space under the front seats. LED headlights and 18-inch wheels come with the following trim called the SLT. It also has leather seats and climate control on the 3500. The AT4 is similar in both models with heated back seats, a spray-in bedliner, and standard four-wheel drive. The 2500 Denali has 20-inch wheels and high-beam headlights. The 2500 and 3500 Denali has a bed-view camera and wireless phone charging.

The 2022 GMC Sierra HD comes with a 10-speed Allison transmission. Depending on your model, you can use a standard 6.6L V8 engine that produces over 400 HP or upgrade to a larger V8 turbo diesel engine with 910 LB-FT to 1,050 LB-FT in torque. Most trims have rear-wheel drive, while the AT4 and Denali trims have standard four-wheel drive.
