The 2019 GMC Acadia has received recent upgrades and changes that have allowed it to evolve and offer more convenient on the road. Three colors have been removed for the exterior, which includes Crimson Red Tintcoat, Black Cherry Metallic, and Mineral Metallic. Four additional colors have been added, allowing drivers to choose from Dark Sky Metallic, Pepperdust Metallic, Red Quartz Metallic, and Smokey Quartz Metallic. Additionally, the 18-inch all-season, H-rated, Blackwall tires that were used on the car's predecessor but have been replaced with all-season Blackwall tires without the H-rating. Consumers also have the option of adding the 17″ x 7.5″ aluminum wheels with P255/65R17 all-terrain Blackwall tires.

The interior has received a few updates, which includes the removal of LPO/accessory-level Rear Seat Entertainment System. Drivers will also find that Express-Up and Down window controls now come standard. Express-Down controls were only offered in the 2018 model. With the package, you can enhance the design and look of the exterior of the car with 20-inch machined aluminum wheels that have black accents, black headlamp and taillamp details, black mirror caps, additional exterior accents, and roof rails. With the exterior styling of the Acadia, the body features masculine cues and has extra ruggedness, which makes the car look suitable for taking it off-roading. Large taillights are connected by a chrome piece that connects the features. Two different engines are available in the Acadia with both front- or all-wheel drive available.

The vehicle comes standard with a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine that has 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. Although a turbocharger isn't provided in the car, it also doesn't need one due to how well it performs. Those who want a stronger powertrain can choose to upgrade to the 3.6-liter V-6 engine, which has 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque.

A third row is also provided in the interior of the car, making it easy to travel with more passengers. Optional dual captains' chairs are also an add-on for the second row. A high level of visibility is provided all around, making it easy for the cabin to feel spacious. The second row is also easy to access and is suitable for tall adult passengers who need plenty of head- and legroom to feel comfortable.
