Specs at a Glance

The 2026 GMC Hummer EV is a larger-than-life pickup that offers the utility of a powerful truck with the advantage of an electric powertrain. With the Hummer EV comes tremendous power and towing capacity. The latest Hummer EV has even more power than before, thanks to a new battery. The interior gets an update across the board with a revamped infotainment system, more driver-assist safety aids, and updated charging infrastructure. While the updates to the 2026 EV Hummer are universal, there are still some trim-specific details to keep in mind to help you decide if the base model (2X) or the top trim (3X) is a better choice.

Performance

Performance is a key aspect of the GMC Hummer EV. The 2026 Hummer EV has an estimated range of 318 miles on a full charge with both the 2X and 3X trims when you buy a new vehicle. With a home charging cable, you can fully charge the Hummer EV in just over 11 hours.

The Hummer EV 2X has a dual-motor configuration that delivers up to 570 horsepower and 7,400 pound-feet of torque. If you equip the 2X with an optional off-road package, power output increases to 635 horsepower, and torque jumps to 9,900 pound-feet. The 3X has three electric motors that provide a total of 830 horsepower and up to 11,500 pound-feet of torque.

Both the 2X and 3X trims have the same performance credentials with the optional 24-module battery, which includes a whopping 1,160 horsepower and 13,000 pound-feet of torque with the upgraded battery system this year.

Appearance

The 2X trim has an exquisite exterior, featuring large 22-inch aluminum wheels with a black finish and all-terrain tires. The 2X also has glass roof panels that you can remove for an open-air driving experience.

With the 3X, you'll get different wheels that are still 22 inches but feature an exclusive finish. A Carbon Fiber package is available, which gives the 3X black 22-inch carbon wheels and black exterior badges.

An available off-road package for either trim includes 18-inch black wheels and Goodyear tires.

Features

With the 2X comes heated seats, a heated steering wheel, CrabWalk technology, and a tailgate that can be configured with lift assist. This trim has an 11-inch digital display, a 13.4-inch touchscreen, a Bose®  sound system, and wireless phone charging. The 3X adds standard 4WD.
