What Are the 2023 Encore GX Trims & Features?

There are three different Encore GX trim levels to choose from. The entry-level Preferred trim is among the segment's most attractive values. Its modern Buick Infotainment System features an 8.0-inch diagonal touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity. Other standard equipment includes Buick Quiet Tuning technology, keyless ignition, and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. A Cold Weather package on the list of options brings heated front seats and a remote engine start.

Another notch up the trim ladder is the Encore GX Select. Highlights include automatic dual-zone automatic climate control, roof rails, and the previously mentioned Cold Weather package.

Atop the lineup sits the more upscale Essence trim. Leather-appointed seating and an air ionizer give its cabin an especially luxurious feel. LED headlights and taillights further set apart the Encore GX Essence. Some exclusive options are available as well, including a panoramic sunroof and a powerful Bose premium audio system.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 Encore GX Have?

When checking out the new Encore GX, you will have two powertrains to pick from. A fuel-efficient 1.2-liter, turbo three-cylinder engine comes standard. Buick rates it to develop 137 horsepower. If you yearn for a more potent punch under the hood, step up to the larger 1.3-liter engine. Output increases to 155 horsepower, thus promoting stronger acceleration. While front-wheel drive models feature a continuously variable transmission, all-wheel drive versions use a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Buick Driver Confidence, which is a collection of advanced safety technologies, comes standard on the Encore GX.
