I had a routine oil change service. When I returned home I noticed that the Oil Life indicator had not been reset. To verify that the oil had indeed been changed, I checked the dipstck but was unable to get a clear reading. I called the service dept. and they sent a tech out to my home to checkout the situation. The tech showed me that there was fresh oil in the engine, and he reset the Oil Life indicator. I appreciated their response, but dismayed that the original tech overlooked the reset requirement. What else did he overlook?
