Buick App

The 2021 model year saw many changes across the industry when it came to technological advances. General Motors has started to incorporate a number of new features designed to provide automobile owners with additional convenience. The GM Marketplace was added to a number of vehicles, which provides drivers with the opportunity to pay for gas, food and make reservations for dinner while remaining in the comfort of their automobile. The latest partnership that Buick has announced is with Hello Sunshine. Hello Sunshine is the media company that runs Reese Witherspoon’s “Reese’s Book Club.” This new feature will incorporate access to many different audio stories and podcasts into your vehicle’s infotainment system.

With over half of Buick’s clientele being made up of females, Buick felt it was time to tailor their approach to the women getting behind the wheel of their vehicles. Currently, “Reese’s Book Club” has more than 1.7 million followers, making it a great addition to the current Buick lineup. Many of the titles featured as part of the book club have spent many weeks on the New York Times bestseller list.

We’re likely to see more of this feature being included in vehicles that are part of the Cadillac and GMC lineup. For now, McKinney Buick GMC encourages you to contact us or come down to our McKinney location to find out which vehicles allow you to access this feature. We can give you a run-through of these podcasts and audiobooks, and we’ll give you a thorough tour of the vehicle you’re considering as your next investment.
