A longtime family favorite, the GMC Terrain is set to return to our McKinney car dealership with a variety of improvements for 2018. Sporting bolder, more modern design elements around the new grille and lighting features, the new Terrain is a looker for sure. The new exterior design was strategically planned, as the vehicle went through a variety of tests, which included the wind tunnel, to ensure maximum cabin quietness and efficiency.
“It is a striking design with functional beauty,” said Helen Emsley, executive director, Global GMC Design. “There’s confidence and optimism in its stance, with exceptional attention to detail that speaks to GMC’s rise as a premium brand.”
Like the exterior, the 2018 Terrain’s cabin places a great amount of emphasis on refinement and functionality. Components like soft-touch materials, aluminum trim and sound absorption technology heightens the driver and passenger experience. Excellent connectivity features like a standard 7-inch infotainment system, Apple CarPlay a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot help keep passengers entertained and connected during their road trips.
Three brand-new turbochargers give buyers of the new Terrain more performance and efficiency options. These engines include a 1.6-liter turbo-diesel and two gasoline-powered turbochargers – a 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter that each come mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
