Off-roading enthusiasts, here’s a truck that will take your adventures to new heights: the 2017 GMC Sierra HD All Terrain X. Featuring a slew of off-road gear and trail-ready style, the Terrain X maximizes the new Sierra’s already rugged and powerful characteristics.
Making it the third model to join GMC’s limited-edition All Terrain X series, this new truck is powerful, very power. The package is available on the Sierra 2500HD crew cab four-wheel drive with a 6.0-liter V8 or the Duramax 6.6-liter V8 turbo-diesel powerplant. The all-new Duramax configuration delivers a mind-blowing 445 horsepower and 910-pound-feet of torque.
“The new Sierra HD All Terrain X’s powerful attitude reflects a popular trend in very capable off-road trucks, executed with a range-topping level of refinement — a combination of attributes GMC has cultivated for years,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of GMC Sales and Marketing.
Aside from its powerful engine options, the All Terrain X comes equipped with a variety of signature elements that add to its sporty look, including:
- Body-color door handles and bodyside moldings
- Black belt moldings, B-pillars and a front bumper skidplate
- 4-inch black sport side steps
- 18-inch black-finished aluminum wheels
- Black-painted power-adjustable heated and power-folding trailering mirrors
- Available in Summit White and Black Onyx exterior paint colors
- Body-color grille with All Terrain insert
In addition to these perks, the truck also gets a spray-on bedliner, heated steering, all-weather floor liners, underbody shield, and front and rear park assist. The list of state-of-the-art standards continues on the 2017 GMC Sierra 2500HD All Terrain X with an 8-inch color touchscreen, remote-locking tailgate, remote starting system, leather upholstery, heated front seats, adjustable pedals and wireless charging for extra convenience.
